A concierge coordinates the people and steps around a sale or purchase so you are not managing them yourself. That can include walking the property and making a preparation plan, gathering bids from vendors, scheduling and checking work, arranging cleanout or donation pickups, booking movers, coordinating keys and access, and keeping you updated in whatever way suits you. The concierge also manages the real estate side: a suggested price range based on market comps, marketing, offers, contract deadlines and settlement, while you make the pricing decisions. ## Who uses concierge services? Owners who use concierge help often share one thing: limited time or distance. Some have accepted a job elsewhere. Some are settling an estate or helping a parent move. The concierge arranges for an organizer to sort belongings, a cleanout crew to remove what is not kept, a painter and handyman to finish small repairs, a cleaning crew and then a photographer.
